Motive Pure contains sodium and potassium, electrolytes that help our bodies absorb and retain water. Packaged as a portable liquid concentrate, Motive Pure mixes easily with water to create a naturally flavored, zero-calorie, electrolyte hydration solution.
Traditional electrolyte sports drinks contain sugars, artificial coloring, and other ingredients that have nothing to do with hydration. "Enhanced waters" often do not have even a functional amount of electrolytes.
After collapsing from dehydration during a professional lacrosse game, Founder Jesse Hubbard became curious about dehydration. He always drank plenty of water, but he realized he wasn't getting electrolytes, which are essential for proper hydration.
"It didn't make any sense that sports drinks were touting the idea of electrolyte hydration but were mostly full of sugar. Most people I knew weren't drinking much of these drinks anyway, sticking primarily to water. So I came up with a better way to benefit from electrolyte hydration while simply drinking water."
